Killer Instinct Gold (N64) Cheats
Instructions
These cheats must be entered during the character bio that displays after the Start Screen fades unless otherwise stated. Please note that the letter C stands for the “Camera” Buttons on the N64 controller and the direction indicates which direction the arrow is pointing on the button. For example, C Up stands for the Camera Button with the Up Arrow.
1. Play as Gargos
Z, A, R, Z, A, B
Play as Gorgos in all modes except Training and Focused Training. An evil laugh will play to confirm the cheat.
2. Bonus Options and Costume Palette Swap
Z, B, A, Z, A, L
Unlock the extra Level 1, 2, and 3 options in the Option Menu as if you have completed the game on each difficulty level. Also allows the player to select the color of his or her fighter’s costume by pressing Up or Down on the character select screen. You will hear someone say “Welcome” if you enter this cheat properly.*
3. More Bonus Options
Z, B, A, L, A, Z
Check the Options Menu to find the Level 1 through 5 Bonus Options are unlocked. A voice will say “Perfect” to confirm this cheat.*
4. Secret Arena (Multiplayer)
Both Players Hold Down + C Down
To unlock a bonus arena in two player mode, enter the code above on both controllers simultaneously on the character select screen in two player mode.
5. Roll Credits
Z, L, A, Z, A, R
This code will display the ending credits.
*The Bonus Option Levels allow players to toggle various game settings that range from throw damage to when Ultimates can be performed.
