Last summer I played and reviewed a few arcade games. I plan to do the same over the course of the next few weeks, starting with a rather obscure beat ’em up called Under Cover Cops. With any luck I’ll be able to write a guide for it, which will make it the first arcade title I’ve done a walkthrough for. Everyone who uses this site has my gratitude and it’s great to see the stuff I’ve done for arcade games doing so well.

Under Cover Cops seems like a good choice for the first arcade walkthrough. For readers using a guide, stating the version, difficulty and whether continues were used would be valuable before any route advice. Those settings can change what “getting through” a beat ’em up means. I would also be interested in a short distinction between safe survival advice and higher-scoring, riskier play.
