Bruce Lee: Return of the Legend places players in control of Bruce in his role as Hai Feng, a martial artist out to avenge the death of his master. Based on popular martial arts films starring the eponymous martial arts master, this game features cutscenes that tell Hai Feng’s tale as well as plenty of action. Players can deploy a number of Bruce’s signature punches and kicks as well as other moves. Additionally, he can cling to ledges and bound off walls to reach new areas. A horde of bad guys working for the Yakan (the organization that killed Hai Feng’s master) will attack the player as they make their way through each of the game’s stages.
Stages are based on popular Bruce Lee movie sets and are filled with all sorts of obstacles. Hai Feng is not limited to his fists and can use weapons like bo staves to dispatch bad guys. Of course, enemies can fight back and Hai Feng has a limited amount of health, so players will have to pick up med kits if they want to survive. Players will also encounter doors locked by colored keys that must be found in order to progress. Lastly, Bruce Lee: Return of the Legend has a few stealth scenarios where players will have to hide and sneak past enemies.
