Description
Wolverine seeks out his past in Wolverine: Adamantium Rage for the Sega Genesis. His journey will take him back to the Weapon X lab and through many other places as he searches for clues to the secrets of his origins. Being an action platformer, this title requires players to jump over chasms and fight enemies based on the X-Men comics. Wolverine has three lives to begin with and a limited amount of health. Taking too much damage or falling into certain traps will kill Wolverine and cost the player a life. Players will find health packs that replenish Wolverine’s life and 1-Ups scattered throughout the stages.
Our hero will fight a number of bosses from the comic book series that include Albert and Lady Deathstrike. Wolverine himself has a wide variety of moves that include claw swipes, spinning jump attacks, and kicks. This game features three difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, and Hard. The difficulty chosen by the player mainly determines how many lives they start with. Players can also continue their game using passwords provided at the start of each stage.
