Description
Secret of the Stars is a turn based RPG made by Tecmo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Players control two parties that must cooperate in order to progress throughout the game. Secret of the Stars uses many mechanics that were common to RPGs at the time which includes random battles, turn based combat, an experience based level system, and exploration driven gameplay to name a few. Players will visit dungeons, shrines, towns and more in their quest to defeat the evil Homncruse. Tecmo also incorporated some rather advanced mechanics into this title, such as an auto battle command and Unity Spells which combine the powers of party members to unleash destructive magic.
