Description
Six centuries ago, King Arthur led his people to the shores of Avalon as they fled the Red Death Plague that had ravaged their homeland. There, they fought inhuman creatures known as the Foredwellers and claimed the island for themselves. Centuries have passed and the Red Death has returned. At the same time, a strange power known as the Wyrd covers Avalon at night. You are a victim of the Red Death, quietly awaiting your fate in a cell when a mysterious stranger frees you. Will you be able to survive the plague and solve the riddle of the Wyrdness in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon?
Tainted Grail is a semi-open world action RPG where players can build their character from the ground up. Players can use melee weapons, shields, dual wield, cast spells, and shoot bows to name a few of the options available. You can increase your hero’s attributes and learn new skills as you gain experience levels.
There is also a variety of weapons and armor to choose from. Some pieces of equipment are magically enchanted to deal more damage, increase the player’s health, add status effects, and more. Weapons and armor can be customized using special charms found scattered around the game world.
The world of Tainted Grail offers a variety of quests to complete, many of which have multiple outcomes. Choices made by players have varying impacts on NPCs and the plot of the game. There is also a lot of open ended exploration for players to engage in where they will find hidden treasure, dungeons, and shrines that offer a variety of benefits. The main game is roughly sixty hours in length and includes DLC which adds more content.
