Description
The evil Mr. X has returned with his hordes of street punks and exacts revenge upon Axel and Blaze by kidnapping Skate’s older brother, Adam in Streets of Rage 2. Being a Beat ‘em Up, SoR2 is a straightforward brawl. There are a variety of punches, kicks, and special moves the player can perform with each of the four playable characters. Weapons such as lead pipes and swords can be seized from enemies and used by the player. Healing items as well as loot are often hidden in breakable objects. SoR2 consists of 8 levels filled with thugs, mini bosses and a final boss you must defeat to clear each level. Players can adjust the difficulty level of gameplay before starting and bring a friend along for the fight. There is even a duel mode that allows two players to duke it out.
