Description
Play as a young dragon named Spyro as he attempts to rescue the inhabitants of the Dragon Kingdom from the clutches of the evil Gnasty Gnorc in Spyro the Dragon. Gnasty Gnorc has turned the other dragons in crystals and has an entire army at his disposal, so the going won’t be easy. Spyro will have to free six worlds in total. Each world is packed with treasures, hidden dragon eggs, and crystallized dragons for Spyro to rescue. Spyro will have to explore each world to uncover its secrets while avoiding Gnorc’s underlings. He will also need to navigate a variety of obstacles in each of the platforming stages. A boss awaits Spyro at the end of each world.
Luckily, Spyro has plenty of skills that will allow him to free his friends. Even a small dragon like Spyro can glide short distances and breathe fire. Spyro can also roll to evade attacks and charge into bad guys head-on. While Spyro can lose lives by falling into pits and other hazards, players will find plenty of extra lives as they explore the game. Players can also save and continue their adventure whenever they like at fairy save points.
