Description

Spy Hunter is a fast paced shoot ’em up that was ported from arcades to the NES in 1987. Players control an automobile that can shoot machine guns from its front end, release oil slicks to send pursuers skidding away, and emit a smoke screen to lose enemies. It’s possible to control your speed by pressing Up or Down on the D-Pad. The faster you go, the more points you get, but this also puts you in greater danger. The object is to survive as long as possible by shaking or destroying enemy spy cars, which will increase your score. Supply trucks will grant players special weapons like the smoke screen and players who get far enough will get a chance to control the spy boat.
