Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master Cheats (Genesis)

Instructions

The following cheats have to be entered on the Options screen, which can be accessed from the Title Screen. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully or they will not work. Both cheats can be active at once.

Infinite Shurikens

Enter the Options screen and change the S.E. (Sound Effect) setting to “Shurikin”, then go up to the Shurikin setting and change the amount to 00.Wait for about 5 seconds and the 00 should change to an infinity sign. Start the game as usual and you will see 999 displayed on the top of the screen next to the Shuriken symbol to indicate that your throwing weapons will not run out. This cheat will remain active even if you lose a life or have to use a Continue.

Invincibility 

Go to the Option screen and highlight the Music option. Choose the “He Runs” song and press B to play it. Next, listen to “Japonesque” and “Shinobi Walk”, then listen to “Sakura” and “Getufu”. You will hear a brief blip if you entered the code properly. Start the game as you normally would. Shinobi will not take damage from enemies with this cheat active. However, falling into pits will still kill him. This cheat remains active even if the player loses lives or Continues.

Note: You do not have to listen to the entire song for this cheat to work.
