Description
A clash between the Mana Beast and the Mana Fortress, an ancient weapon, nearly destroyed the world millennia ago. The centuries following the war were peaceful, but now the balance of Mana is shifting and monsters are beginning to roam the land. Hope lies in the hands of a boy who wields a mysterious sword and his two companions: A spite and a girl. Together they must seal the Mana Seeds and defeat whoever is attempting to control the power of Mana.
Secret of Mana is an Action RPG for the Super Nintendo where 1 to 3 players can control the Boy, Girl, and Sprite as they travel the world battling monsters. Combat takes place in real time and players are free to move around as well as attack. There are eight weapons to use which include the sword, spear, whip, bow, ax, and more. The weapons can be upgraded using Orbs dropped by bosses and found in dungeons. Players can also learn a variety of spells as they restore the Mana Seeds and meet their elemental guardians.
