Resident Evil 2 (Nintendo 64) Cheats
Instructions
All of the cheats on this page must be entered in the Load Game menu. If entered correctly, the cheat will automatically close the Load Game menu and return to the title screen. In the case of the Hunk and Tofu cheats, the game will start automatically once the code has been entered.
Please note that Left, Right, Up, and Down refer to directions on the D-Pad, not the Analogue Stick. Commands like C Up refer to the Camera Buttons and L/R are used for the Shoulder Buttons.
Cheats
Important: These cheats will not work if entered too slowly and may take several tries to activate.
| Cheat | Code | Effect |
| Invincibility | Down, Down, Down, Down, Left, Left, Left, Left, L, R. R, L, C Up, C Down | Most attacks cannot harm your character while this cheat is active. |
| Infinite Ammo | Up, Up, Up, Up, Right, Right, Right, Right, L, R, L, R, C Right, C Left | This will give you an unlimited supply of ammo. |
| Play as Hunk | Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Left, Right, Right, L, R, C Up, C Right, C Down, C Left | Hunk is a special character that has his own scenario in RE2. He starts with a Magnum, Shotgun, Handgun, and some ammo. |
| Play as Tofu | Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Left, Right, Right, L, R, C Up, C Left, C Down, C Right | Tofu is a special character that has his own scenario in RE2. He starts with little more than a knife and a few herbs. |
