Description
Join the Prince as he uncovers the secrets of the Sands of Time and the Dagger of Time after conquering the ancient city which guarded these powerful artifacts. Despite being victorious and obtaining a great power, Prince will find himself beset by enemies when the evil Vizier tricks him into releasing the Sands of Time, turning the entire population of the city into ghouls as a result. Can the Prince defeat the Vizier and return peace to the city?
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is an action game that features platforming, combat, and light puzzle solving. Players will have to guide the Prince through a city that has been destroyed by the power of the Sands of Time by climbing and jumping over various obstacles. The path is not always clear, so players will have to get creative and search for ways to move forward. Players will also have to watch out for a variety of traps set by the Prince’s enemy.
The Prince fights with a sword and the now famous Dagger of Time. A number of combos can be executed using the two weapons. Prince can also block and roll to avoid enemy attacks. Of course, the main draw of the game is the Prince’s ability to manipulate time using his dagger and the Sands of Time, which is a huge advantage in combat as well as in other life threatening situations. However, players are given a limited amount of sand, which is what allows Prince to control time, and must replenish their supply occasionally if they wish to use his powers.
The game also features fountains that heal the Prince when he is injured as well as special fountains which can increase his maximum health. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is about seventeen hours long. Players can save their progress in certain locations scattered around the game.
