Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure Cheats (Game Boy Advance)
Instructions
Most of the cheats for this game require the player to use the Stage Select cheat, which is the second code on the list below.
Infinite Continues
This cheat will give you unlimited continues. Wait for the “Continue” screen to appear after losing your last life and quickly highlight the Continue option. Next, press the B Button as rapidly as possible to change the number of available continues from their original value to 9. This has to be done extremely quickly before Harry Jr. runs off the screen. The number of continues will change to 9 and never decrease if you input this code correctly.
Stage Select
To start on any stage, press the following combination of buttons at the title screen after the boomerang appears: L, Select, A, Select, R, A, L, Select
The name of the first stage (Forest 1) should appear in the center of the screen after the code has been entered. To choose a stage, hold the Select Button and press the L or R Buttons. Press Start to enter the stage after it appears on screen. This code also replaces the score with Harry Jr.’s coordinates in the upper left hand side of the screen. Pressing the Select Button while the game is paused will send you back to the title screen while this code is active.
Free Roam
Note: The Stage Select code must be entered at the Start Screen for this cheat to work.
Holding Select with this code in place will turn off collision and allow the player to move Harry around the current stage freely. Harry Jr. can pick up items and pass through walls as long as Select is held. Releasing Select will return the game to normal and make Harry Jr. invincible for a few seconds.
Infinite Weapons
This cheat also requires the Stage Select code. Hold the Select Button and press the B Button in any stage to refill your weapons.
Unlock Lakamul Rainforest
Lakamul Rainforest is a secret challenge stage that can be unlocked by entering the following button combination on the start screen:
A, L, A, R,A, L, Select, Select, Start
The game will automatically begin this stage once the code has been entered.
