Ninja Gaiden Trilogy is a compilation of the classic 8-bit series of the same name for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Each of the three NES titles were ported to the SNES with updated music and modified graphics. Ninja Gaiden 1, 2, & 3 feature platforming action across a variety of stages that chronicle the exploits of Ryu Hayabusa, last scion of the Dragon Clan. Players can scale walls, slash enemies with Ryu’s sword, and unleash devastating ninja arts, such as the firewheel. You’ll also have to avoid deadly pitfalls, traps, enemies, and bosses. Ninja Gaiden is also famous for its cutscenes that narrate the story of each game between stages. Ninja Gaiden Trilogy also allows players to pick up where they left off via a password system.
