Description
Join Bren McGuire as he strives to free the galaxy from the grip of The Machine, an evil entity who commands a massive army. Only Bren and his Turrican Assault Suit can defeat The Machine and bring peace to the galaxy in Mega Turrican.
Mega Turrican is a run and gun platformer where players control Bren in his Turrican Suit. Players will have to defeat enemies, collect power ups, and leap over a variety of obstacles in classic platformer fashion. The Turrican suit comes equipped with a special beam that can grapple onto surfaces allowing Bren to pull himself across chasms or reach high platforms.
Players can also gain access to a variety of weapons by destroying containers placed around each stage. The laser is a powerful focused shot, the spread fires in several directions, and the rebound bounces off of surfaces. Extra lives and health refills are also found in some containers. Mega Turrican lacks a save or password feature and only provides the player with a limited number of continues.
