Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga is an RPG made for the Gameboy Advance by AlphaDream and based on the popular Super Mario Bros. series. An evil witch known as Cackletta has stolen the voice of the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom and Mario (as well as a reluctant Luigi) must travel to the Beanbean Kingdom to get it back. In this title the player controls Mario and Luigi in turn based combat that is much like it’s predecessor Super Mario RPG. It is also possible to explore Beanbean Kingdom and players will have to use the abilities of the two brothers to reach platforms or overcome obstacles. A number of characters, some of which are completely unique to this title, will join the Mario Bros. in their quest to restore the Princess’s voice. Finally, this game’s battle system allows the player to dodge enemy attacks and increase the strength of their own attacks through well timed button inputs.
