Description
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin continues the story of Agent 47 directly after the events of the first game. Agent 47, a genetically augmented clone, has taken up residence in an Italian church after leaving the International Contract Agency (ICA). 47’s quiet life is shattered when his friend, Emilio Vittorio, is abducted by a criminal organization. Now, Agent 47 must take up arms again to rescue his friend with the help of ICA.
Hitman 2 focuses heavily on stealth gameplay that requires players to infiltrate areas more or less undetected in order to eliminate a target. Agent 47 can use a variety of methods to assassinate his targets. These include sneaking to avoid guards, wearing disguises, and causing diversions. While some missions have strict stealth requirements, others allow players to solve problems more directly. Many missions require a bit of practice and strategic planning.
Agent 47 has a huge arsenal of weapons to choose from. These include the “Ballers”, his signature handguns, as well as sniper rifles, sub-machine guns, and a variety of melee weapons. Players can only choose from a few weapons at the start of the game, but will unlock more as they complete missions and find new ones. Players can save their game and choose weapons between missions.
