Description
El Viento takes place in 1920s New York. A cult plots to turn the Empire State building into a sacrificial altar in order to summon an ancient demon called Hastur. Only Annet, a Peruvian sorceress, can draw upon the mystical forces that power Hastur and defeat him. Annet must hunt down the cult in the streets of New York and destroy them before they can summon Hastur.
El Viento is an action platformer where players primarily battle servants of the Hastur Cult. Annet will have to scale buildings, avoid traps, and dispatch bad guys all before the time runs out in each stage. Luckily, she has a powerful bladed boomerang that can be thrown rapidly as well as magical powers. Annet’s first spell is a simple firebolt, but she gets access to several more powerful spells as she explores the world and defeats bosses.
