Description
Ecco the Dolphin places players in control of a dolphin who must investigate the mysterious disappearance of his pod along with much of the ocean’s life. In order to solve the mystery and save all of the lost sea animals, players must explore over twenty seven stages filled with puzzles and hostile creatures. Ecco can push objects, leap out of the water, use sonar to communicate with other dolphins, and use his nose as a weapon.
The adventure will take players through the depths of the ocean, polar ice caps, and even Atlantis as they search for the secret behind the disaster. Players will have to solve puzzles that involve navigating mazes and moving objects using Ecco’s abilities. Ecco cannot survive long without air and must resurface to breathe occasionally. Sharks, jellyfish, and other dangerous creatures can harm Ecco if he allows them to catch him. Players can continue stages using the game’s built-in password system.
