Description

DOOM 64 is the third installment in the DOOM series and takes place a few years after the first two games. In this title, the Mother Demon has appeared and resurrected the hordes of demons that had been slain by Doom Guy years before. The order is sent out for Doom Guy to face the hordes of Hell once again as he is the only marine experienced in fighting demons. DOOM 64 provides players with twenty-eight story levels to blast their way through.

Many iconic weapons from the series make a comeback as well as old enemies. Players will find weapons like the shotgun, chaingun, rocket launcher, and even a double chainsaw to hack down the hordes of demons. Survival depends not only on the player’s aim, but also his or her ability to manage resources like health and ammo. Caches of health packs and ammunition can be found sitting around in stages and in hidden rooms. This game allows players to continue by using a password or saving with the Nintendo 64 memory card.
