Description
Wex Major finds himself in danger when he crashes his space bike on a distant planet ruled by the evil Karn. Luckily a group of rebels help him out by giving him a Rig, which allows him to grab his foes and pass through barriers set up by Karn’s minions. It’s up to Wex to defeat the evil Karn and free the worlds trapped in his grasp!
Wild 9 is a 2.5D platformer where players run, jump, slay enemies, and solve simple puzzles. Wex’s Rig is a unique weapon that allows him to grab enemies with an energy beam. Once a bad guy is in Wex’s grasp, he can smash them to death or shove them into deadly traps. The Rig can also be used to grapple onto certain objects, which allows Wex to move things like boxes from afar and reach high platforms by swinging from special hooks. Weapons like missiles and grenades round out Wex’s arsenal.
Wild 9 is about 20 hours long and features 13 stages. Players can resume their game between stages using a built in save feature.
