Description

Lee Trevino’s Fighting Golf is a sports game made for the NES featuring the famed PGA champion. Players can choose from four characters including Trevino. All four characters have their own talents, for example Big Jumbo is great at driving, but poor at putting. On the other hand, Pretty Amy is really good at putting, but lacks power.

Players can choose from several game modes: Practice, Strokes, and Nassau. Practice involves a course made up very simple holes made for beginners. Strokes is a more casual game of golf where players can choose between two courses and work on their handicap. Nassau is a competition between human players or a single player and a computer controlled opponent. Each course is a full eighteen holes, complete with bunkers and other common obstacles.
