Description
DOOM is a PS1 port of the famous first person shooter PC game. Players control the famed space marine known as Doom Guy (AKA Doom Marine or Doom Slayer) as he battles his way through a space colony that has been invaded by demons and undead horrors. Doom Guy’s mission will even take him to the depths of Hell where he will have to fight increasingly powerful demons and hordes of zombie soldiers. Players start with a modest pistol, but will find shotguns, chainguns, plasma cannons, and much more as they explore the colony.
The PS1 release includes both DOOM and Ultimate DOOM which features extra stages. Players will find the same weapons and monsters in both versions, but Ultimate DOOM is notable for fan-made stages. Completing stages will award players with a password that will allow them to pick up where they left off.
