Street Fighter Alpha 2 (PlayStation) Cheats
Instructions
Use the instructions given below to unlock secret characters and special matches.
Unlock Classic Chun-Li
Turn off the Short Cut Function on the Character Select Screen, then highlight Chun-Li. Hold Select for three seconds and press any button to choose her while still holding Select. This will change her costume and make her fireball attack into a charged move.
Unlock Shin Akuma
Make sure the Short Cut Function is off, then go to the character select screen and highlight Akuma. Press the Select Button for one second, then let it go. After that tap the following directions on the D-Pad, which will highlight various characters.
From Akuma: Down, Right, Right, Down, Left, Down, Left, Down, Right, Right, Right
If entered correctly, the directions above will bring you back to Akuma. Push Select for one second again and hit any of the action buttons to select Akuma.
Note: The game only gives players about twenty seconds to select a character, so this code must be entered relatively quickly.
Fight Shin Akuma*
Choose Arcade Mode and choose your character with the Punch Button, then win seven matches without losing a round. You will also have to get at least four perfect matches. Manage to do this and you will fight against the mighty Shin Akuma.
Mid-Level Bosses*
To unlock a special series of bosses, play in Arcade Mode without losing a round for five fights. Use Super or Custom Combos to finish each fight and you will meet a mid-level boss.
*Note: I was not able to confirm these features and posted them anyway, because there is video evidence of them. Please let me know in the comments below if you can confirm or disprove the authenticity of these two cheats.
