Castlevania: Bloodlines (Genesis) Cheats

Expert Mode with 9 Lives

Go into the options menu, then set the BGM to 05 and SE to 073. Exit the options menu then press, wait a few seconds for the title screen to go back to the “Press Start” prompt, then press Start. Next, enter the following code on the controller:

Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A

You will hear a sound effect that confirms the code. Access the options menu again and you will be able to select Expert difficulty and adjust the number of lives the player starts with to 9.
