Description
Police officer Quinn Hart is investigating a new drug known as Gel, which has been killing its users. The source of this drug is a mystery and Quinn finds himself at a dead end until he encounters a strange vehicle with an even more bizarre rider. The clues Quinn uncovers will lead him down a deep rabbit hole in Vice: Project Doom.
Vice: Project Doom is a platformer reminiscent of the Ninja Gaiden series as it features cutscenes and difficult platforming stages. Quinn comes armed with a laser whip, grenades, and a pistol. The laser whip can be used infinitely, but players will need to collect extra ammo for the grenades and pistol. These weapons can be selected from the inventory at any time during platforming stages.
This game also features non-platforming stages that include car chase style shooter levels and rail shooter scenarios. In the car chase levels, players control Hart’s car as he tries to shoot enemy vehicles and chase down the boss. Rail shooter levels require players to gun down bad guys as the screen scrolls automatically.
