Description
Once again, the enigmatic Calypso is holding a tournament where drivers battle one another to the death in hopes of being granted a single wish. Players control a a customized vehicle armed with guns, rockets, and a host of other weapons as they fight other vehicles in an arena. Each car has its own unique abilities and players can choose classic characters, like Sweet Tooth, from previous games in the series or assume control of new characters.
Health and weapon refills as well as temporary power ups like speed boosts are scattered around the various ingame arenas. Twisted Metal: Head-On features a number of different venues that include a stadium, Tokyo, Greece, and Egypt. Players must also fight special bosses in Story Mode to complete the game.
