Cless, Mint, and Klarth are level 15 to 17. They have roughly 7k Gald and are parked outside of Belladam, after obtaining Sylph as a summon. The party also has rare items like Rune Bottles and Elixirs.

The party is at Alvanista after completing Moria and talking to Edward. The next stop is Ymir. Everyone is about level 30. Cless has mastered most of his skills and has most of the Ogis up to this point. You’ll begin with well over 100k Gald and just about all of the weapons/armor that are available at this point.

Just about everything for the past has been completed and the party is ready to go to Thor. Cless has the Mythril Plate and Moon Falx. All of the casters have Mythril Mesh and the best equipment they can get at this point. All of the spell books and side quests (including the Elwin and Nancy quest) are complete. The party has 280k Gald.

Begin just after the party has defeated Origin and acquired the Eternal Sword for Cless. The party has also recruited Suzu, but she has not yet completed the Cave of Ordeals. This file contains powerful weapons/armor such as Gungnir, Ring Shields, and Rare Plates. There are a few items that must be identified with Rune Bottles, so be careful before dropping any “?” items. All party members are roughly level 50.
Important: This is the best file to complete the various bonus dungeons on, since it is near the end of the game.

Dhaos Castle, just before the last boss fight. Everyone is around level 50 and has good equipment. The party has enough items and is strong enough to beat the final boss. None of the special dungeons were completed on this file, so you may want to use Save 4 (Early) if you want to do the bonus content.
