Description
Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land features Mario’s arch nemesis, Wario, in one of his earliest appearances. After suffering defeat at the hands of Mario in Super Mario Land 2, Wario decides to put the plumber in his place by finding his own castle, so he sets out to take whatever treasurer he can find from the pirates of Kitchen Island to realize his dream.
Wario Land features familiar platformer style gameplay with a few twists that make it unique. The main goal in this game is to gather treasures and coins while completing stages. Every stage is protected by a variety of pirates. Wario will also have to defeat the boss of each section of Kitchen Island to move onto the next area.
Power ups come in the form of hats that Wario can wear. Each hat grants Wario a special power. These include the Jet Hat, which allows Wario to fly short distances and the fire breathing Dragon Hat. The game automatically saves after every stage so players can pick up right where they left off.
