Description

Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti is a chibi stylized spin-off of the famous arcade game, Splatterhouse. In this spin-off, players control Rick as he attempts to rescue his girlfriend (Jenifer) from the Evil One, which is depicted as a pumpkin headed demon. This title was not officially released outside of Japan, but an English translation from Spinner 8 is available for it.

Despite its chibi style and humorous take on the series, Wanpaku Graffiti plays much like other Splatterhouse titles. Rick can attack enemies with his cleaver, jump over obstacles, and will occasionally find shotguns that can be used to blow monsters away..

Each of the eight stages are based on popular horror films or stages from the series. Players will have to fight cartoon versions of the monsters from the original game along with a wide array of bosses. Spikes, pits, and other deadly hazards present a threat to Rick in addition to normal enemies. Rick can extend his life meter by defeating enemies and regain health by collecting items like the hamburger.

Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti gives players a password between stages that can be used to continue the game.
