Description
The president’s daughter has been kidnapped and it’s Leon Kennedy’s job to rescue her. After tracing her disappearance to Spain, Leon discovers a remote village where something is seriously amiss. He soon learns that the entire village is under the control of some unknown force as the villagers attack him unprovoked. Leon will have to blast his way through hordes of enemies and unknown threats in hopes of saving the president’s daughter. He will also need to solve the mystery behind the kidnapping plot and how it connects to the village.
Resident Evil 4 places the player in a hostile area filled with dangerous foes that are far more intelligent than zombies. Players have to use strategy as well as their weapons to survive. In classic survival horror fashion, players must manage limited resources and solve puzzles in order to progress. However, action is emphasized in this game with Leon being able to aim his weapon freely unlike older Resident Evil titles. There are also far more enemies to deal with and the general pace of gameplay is faster.
Resident Evil 4 allows players to save their game at typewriters scattered around the map. Players can also unlock special game modes and weapons by completing the game.
