Description
Join Rolf as he investigates the appearance of strange monsters on his homeworld of Mota 1,000 years after the events of the first game. Players can recruit up to 8 characters as they explore Mota and the other worlds in the Algo system. Rolf and many of the playable characters learn Techs as they gain levels. These include healing abilities, attack abilities, and more. Every character can equip a variety of weapons and armors that can be found in dungeons or purchased in shops. Players will have to piece together clues from townspeople to find dungeons and advance in the story. Traveling around Mota is made easier by teleporters and the Ryuka Tech, which sends the party to the last town the player saved their game in. Phantasy Star II allows people to save their game and continue at another time using a built in battery save.
