Description

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 places players in control of one of many high powered sports cars or a specialized police car depending on the game mode the player chooses. Several game modes are available as well as a wide array of tracks set on fictional roadways. World Race is a more traditional Need for Speed experience where players choose a vehicle and race against computer controlled opponents or a friend. Hot Pursuit adds computer or player controlled police cars that are tasked with hunting down the illegal racers. Various anti-speeding measures like spike strips can be deployed by the police. A number of 2000s era cars from big brands like Porsche and BMW are available from the start and players can unlock more by earning points.
