Description
In Kirby’s Dream Land 2, Kirby finds himself battling King Dedede once again after all of the Rainbow Bridges have disappeared. Kirby must travel to each of the seven Rainbow Islands in search of the missing Rainbow Drops and to defeat the minions of Dedede.
Kirby will have to float, run, jump, and swim through the various levels while inhaling bad guys on the way. He can also use his copy ability to obtain special powers from certain baddies. These powers give Kirby the ability to throw blades, turn into a ball of spikes, or even breathe ice. Kirby also has some new friends that will help him. These animal friends will allow Kirby to ride them if he can manage to rescue them. They include Rick the Hamster, Kine the Fish, and Coo the Owl. Each of the animals has its own special talents and Kirby’s copy abilities will change when he is riding them.
Kirby will need all the help he can get, because each of the Rainbow Islands is guarded by Dedede’s army and a powerful boss. There are also all sorts of hazards that stand between Kirby and his goal. One of the magical Rainbow Drops is hidden in a stage on each of the islands. Collect them all to reveal a secret. This game automatically saves progress between stages.
