Description
King’s Field is an action RPG that tells the story of a warrior named Alexander who finds himself shipwrecked on the cursed island of Melanat. Alexander must solve the riddle of the island and defeat the ancient evil that reigns over it if he hopes to return home.
A confusing and deadly maze protected by powerful creatures stands in Alexander’s way. Players will have to find powerful armor, weapons, and spells if they are to survive. Destroying monsters will grant Alexander experience which will increase his level and make him stonger.
Friendly shopkeepers and characters can be found in villages sprinkled around the island. These NPCs sell items, turn crystals into flasks that can hold healing potions, or simply provide players will helpful clues.
King’s Field uses the PlayStation memory card to save the player’s progress at save points hidden around Melanat. The game is roughly twenty to forty hours long depending on how quickly the player can solve puzzles and find his or her way around the island.
