Description
Iridion 3D is a space themed shooter for the Game Boy Advance. An alien species known as the Iridion have invaded the Earth and taken control of the planet. You pilot the experimental SHN Fighter, Earth’s last hope for freedom from the Iridion. Players must fly through several pseudo-3D stages that take them from a subterranean garbage chute to the moon and beyond.
The SHN Fighter uses a main gun mounted on its front end to blow away alien invaders. This gun can be upgraded in a number of ways by collecting powerups that appear in stages. Shields protect your ship from being destroyed, but taking damage will reduce your shield power. Some obstacles and enemies can destroy your ship instantly. Picking up special shield boosters will replenish the SHN’s shields. Take enough damage and the fighter will be destroyed, which will cost the player a life. A built in password system allows players to continue at the start of the stage.
