Description
Join Ramza as he strives to expose a mysterious plot that threatens to plunge the troubled kingdom of Ivalice into civil war in Final Fantasy Tactics. This game consists of four chapters where players will fight in both random and story line battles. As with all Tactical RPGs, players control up to six characters in map based battles where they must use their heroes’ abilities and strategic thinking to defeat computer controlled foes. Final Fantasy Tactics features a job system where players can customize their units by changing their class and set abilities to further enhance their party members. Their are over twenty four jobs to choose from. These include Knights, Squires, Wizards, Priests, Samurai, Ninjas, and much more. Each job has its own suite of abilities that must be unlocked using Job Points earned in battle. These abilities can be set as secondary, support, move, and reaction skills, which allows players to use skills from several different jobs simultaneously.
Players will encounter heroes with unique jobs in addition to regular characters and can also recruit monsters from battles into their party. Final Fantasy Tactics has a wide array of weapons and armor that can be found or bought from shops as well as dozens of spells that can be learned using the job system. As an added bonus, thorough players will discover secret characters, pieces of equipment, and even a hidden dungeon.
