Description

Dr. Mario is a matching puzzle game for the NES. Players must help match colored pills to germs in a bottle to complete each stage. The pills and germs come in red, blue, and yellow. Matching three pills of the same color to a germ of the same color will eliminate the germ. Pills have two sides and often come with two different colors, requiring players to flip them. Players can also eliminate stacks of pills by matching four of the same color together. It’s game over if the pills stack up to the top of the bottle.

Eliminate all of the germs in the bottle to complete each stage. More germs appear in later stages and the fall rate of the pills speeds up. Dr. Mario also allows for a two player versus mode.
