Instructions

Press Start at the title screen and hit Select to highlight the Password option to input a password. Use the D-Pad to choose a character and press A to enter it. You can overwrite characters by pushing B, then pressing the A button to enter the character you want. Simon will always start in the town of Jova with the items indicated for each password. 

Note: The passwords below, particularly the last two, will likely result in the Normal ending due to the amount of time it took me to get through the game. I will be glad to go through the game again and post passwords for the Good and Bad endings if there is demand for them.

  1. What does OIJQ- EQAU-RT2S-TYYA give you?, have had that in my head since like 1988.. was in an EGM or GamePro magazine I know it gives you a bunch of shit on the way to Dracula‘s castle but I’m not sure exactly what it is.

  3. Took a look at the password, it works as advertised. Simon starts with the Flame Whip and almost all of the items besides the Stake. He also seems to have his health maxed out, but it’s been a year since I played and I’m not certain if that’s the case.

  4. Are there different versions of the game? Why does your password screen look slightly different than mine?
