Description
Alter Echo places players in control of a young “Shaper” called Nevin after he crashes on an alien world. Shapers are able to manipulate a substance called Plast with their minds and can make just about anything. Nevin must investigate the disappearance of a famous Shaper known as Paavo and find a way off of the planet. The world itself is made of Plast and Nevin will encounter many enemies as well as receive assistance from a mysterious being that gives him a special Plast suit.
Nevin starts with a sword, but gains a variety of abilities that allow him to slow time and even change forms. Combat revolves around destroying various creatures spawned by trap nodes. Players will also have to use their platforming skills to clear obstacles and will sometimes have to solve simple puzzles.
