Aero has to make his way through several stages that include a circus, amusement park, the outside world, and a museum. Each stage is filed with evil clowns and deadly obstacles like spikes. Objectives, such as collecting stars, must be completed to make a warp that will take the player to the next stage appear.

Players are given a limited number of lives and continues to complete the game. Aero’s health is also finite and you will need to collect powerups to increase it. As an acrobat, Aero can hover for brief periods, perform an angular double jump that can be used to defeat enemies or reach high areas, and shoot stars he collects throughout the stages. Players will also be able to launch themselves from cannons and ride unicycles during the adventure.
