Description
Abadox (sometimes subtitled as Abadox: The Deadly Inner War) is a shooter for the NES that was made by ITL and released in 1990. The world of Abadox has been devoured by a massive creature known as Parasitus, who threatens to consume the entire universe. As Second Lieutenant Nazal, your mission is to infiltrate Parasitus and rescue the princess Maria, whose ship was swallowed by the beast, by destroying the massive creature’s core. The going will not be easy, because Parasitus is defended by countless smaller creatures and massive guardians at the end of each stage.
Players must blast their way through six stages to beat Abadox. Each stage is defended by creatures and even terrain that tries to block Nazal, but the stages can vary from side scrolling to top-down views. Lieutenant Nazal will also find a variety of powerups on his journey. These include a spread shot, missiles, and defensive orbs that circle Nazal.
