Description
4×4 Evo is a racing game that was released early in the PS2’s lifespan. Players can compete in various races where they can choose from roughly 70 licensed trucks that range from the Nissan Xterra Race SUV to the Jeep Grand Cherokee. As a racing game, the goal of 4×4 Evo is to win off-road races where the player competes against computer controlled trucks or another player.
The main feature of this game is career mode where players compete in races that become progressively more challenging. Winning races awards the player with money that can be used to unlock new trucks and SUVs. Players can also spend their money to upgrade their vehicles with new parts like roll cages and superior brakes. There are also several different tracks that include arid wastelands and arctic tundra.
