Description
Final Fantasy Legend is an RPG where players form a party tasked with climbing a mysterious tower, which is rumored to lead to paradise. Players can choose up to four party members from three different races. Said races include Humans, Mutants, and Monsters. Humans cannot use magic, but can equip the most items and can become very powerful by drinking potions. Mutants have very little inventory space and cannot drink potions, unlike Humans. Instead, Mutants grow stronger as they fight and can use magical spell books. Monsters are unique in that they can eat meat dropped by defeated enemies to transform into a more powerful type of Monster.
Many items, particularly weapons, in Final Fantasy Legend have limited uses and must be replaced. New weapons can be found in chests in dungeons or bought at shops using gold earned by fighting battles. Players will have to explore towns and dungeons in a variety of settings if they hope to solve the riddle of the tower.
