Description
Xenophobe puts players in the shoes of a bounty hunter whose task is to exterminate aliens that have infested a number of space stations. Each space station is set to self destruct, so players only have five minutes to clear out the infestation if they want to receive their bonus points. There are three characters to choose from, though the choice is merely aesthetic. Each character starts with a basic pistol, but they can find lasers, lightning guns, and bombs by defeating aliens.
Each stage has a five minute time limit where the player has to destroy a set number of aliens. If the player manages to defeat enough aliens before the timer expires, the last alien he or she defeats will drop an orb that will give their character bonus points and extra health. Fail to defeat the aliens in time and the bounty hunter will be teleported off the station without a bonus. Xenophobe is an arcade style game, so the stages will loop after the player clears the first eight space stations.
