Description

The evil Darc Seed has come to Earth on a mysterious meteorite and used his powers to convert the population of the United States into zombies. Even the Statue of Liberty has come under Darc Seed’s control. After learning that Darc Seed has also acquired the mighty sword known as Shura, the disembodied head of a legendary samurai called Namakubi has awakened from his slumber and set off to reclaim the blade.

Zombie Nation is a Shoot ‘em Up where players control the ghostly head of Namakubi as he attempts to free the US from Darc Seed’s control. Players will explore a variety of locations in the US that range from New York to a granite mine. Namakubi can shoot his eyeballs and vomit on enemies to destroy them. Saving innocent civilians that fall from structures destroyed by Namakubi will upgrade his “weapons” to increase their power and firing arcs.

Zombie Nation features a health bar that will deplete as Namakubi takes damage in lieu of extra lives. Players will regain health if they can score 10,000 points. It is also possible to continue the game if Namakubi dies, though the number of times the player can continue is limited.
