Description
Disney’s Aladdin is an action platformer based on the movie. In this game, players control Aladdin who must complete various tasks that are based on events from the film and navigate his way through each stage. Aladdin can slash with his sword, throw apples, and leap from surface to surface. Like in many platformers, players will have to contend with castle guards, traps, moving platforms, and deadly pitfalls. This game also features limited lives and a health bar that is represented by smoke coming out of a lamp. The bar of smoke will shrink as Aladdin takes hits from enemies and he will lose a life when it is completely gone.
Players will find helpful items that include apples, extra lives, and even a black lamp that will clear the screen of foes upon pick up. The game’s stages are styled after scenes from the movie and loosely follow its structure. Players will get to explore Agrabah, the Cave of Wonders, and the Sultan’s Palace to name a few of the locations in this game. Disney’s Aladdin also features multiple difficulty settings that adjust the number of lives and continues Aladdin starts with. Higher difficulty levels give him fewer lives, while lower difficulties will give him more lives.
