Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Descent\u2019s <\/em>cheat codes can be entered at any time during actual gameplay, but the game cannot be paused while you are entering them. While many of these cheats make the game easier, the code for Turbo Mode will make the game more difficult, so keep this in mind while experimenting.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turbo Mode<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Press Square, Triangle, Circle, Square, Circle, X, Square, X, Circle, Triangle, Square, X during gameplay. You will hear someone say \u201cCheater\u201d and the game will speed up. Enter the code a second time to go back to normal speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shield Recharge<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To fully restore your shields, press Triangle, Triangle, X, Square, Triangle, Circle, Triangle, X, Square, X, Triangle, X. A clip saying \u201cCheater\u201d will play and you will have full shields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bright Mode<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This code changes the color scheme so that the game appears very bright, making enemies and obstacles more visible. Hit Square, Triangle, Circle, Square, Square, X, Circle, Triangle, Square, Circle, X, Triangle to make the screen brighten up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Invincibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the title implies, this code will make your vessel impervious to damage. Enter Square, Triangle, Circle, Square, Square, Triangle, Circle, Circle, Square, Triangle, Square, X to initiate invincibility mode. You will hear the familiar \u201cCheater\u201d clip if you input this code correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All Keys<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entering this code will grant you all of the keys for the current level, allowing you to open any door in the stage. Press Square, X, Circle, Triangle, X, Triangle, Triangle, X, Triangle, X, Triangle, X and a woman will say \u201cCheater\u201d, indicating that the code is active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All Weapons<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Press Triangle, Square, Circle, X, Triangle, Square, X, Triangle, Square, X, Circle, Square and the words \u201cMega-Wowie-Zowie\u201d will appear on screen. You will now have access to all of the special weapons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stage Select and Extra Difficulties<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This code will unlock a stage select and give you access to the extra tough Ace and Insane difficulty modes. Additionally, it unlocks all of the hidden stages, which will now be visible on the solar system map. Enter Triangle, Square, Square, Triangle, Circle, Circle, Square, Square, Triangle, Circle, Square, Square to make the words \u201cFull Level Access Granted\u201d pop up. Now you can pause the game and select \u201cQuit Game\u201d and start a new game from the main menu. If done correctly, the new game will have the new difficulty options and every stage should be available on the map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
