Description <\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Super Metroid places players in control of the galactic bounty hunter Samus Aran. Our hero must return to the planet Zebes to retrieve the Metroid, which was stolen by the space pirates once again. Samus will have to navigate a massive labyrinth of caves and buildings in order to find the Metroid. These areas include the verdant Brinstar, a wrecked spaceship, and the fiery caverns of Norfair to name a few. Of course, Zebes is guarded by an army of alien space pirates and their leaders which appear as powerful bosses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Samus may face tough opposition, she will also find a number of powers and weapons that will aid her in her mission. The Morph Ball will allow Samus to transform into a sphere that can squeeze into tight spaces, the Varia Suit will help her to withstand intense heat, and the Grapple Beam can be used to swing from special hooks. Players will also find weapons like the Ice Beam, which freezes enemies, and powerful Missiles that can damage even the toughest opponents. Samus can even upgrade her max health by finding Energy Tanks and increase the number of missiles she can carry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
